SOFTWARE: Only software pre-loaded on the equipment is to be purchased on this price agreement The purchase of software is allowed only at the time of the purchase of the hardware. Software offerings, other than educational software, are restricted to operating systems and packaged (off-the-shelf) software that does not require signing any type of license agreement. All other forms of application specific software programs or suites of programs are excluded.

LEASING: Leasing is included as an option on this price agreement.

THIS PRICE AGREEMENT IS PART OF THE NEW 2009-2014 CONTRACT: Limits have been increased to $300,000 each. The agreement is NOT for the purchase of major, large hardware or hardware and software offerings. In general, individual units/configurations for servers and storage (SANs, etc.) should not exceed $300,000 each. Desktop per unit/configuration costs should not exceed $100,000. Printers of all types and monitors per unit/configuration costs should not exceed $50,000 each. Pricing listed on the web page for this vendor is the maximum price per single item. If you are in need of multiple units you can often achieve better pricing by sending this request to the contract’s contact for a quote. The greater the quantity, and more standardized your configurations are, will reduce the quote. Also soliciting competing quotes among the different manufactures will also lead to more aggressive pricing. Maintenance / Support Agreements Hewlett Packard support agreements are covered by this contract. Agencies are reminded to seek more competitive pricing from the vendor for any order containing numerous machines.
