3/1/15 Clarification:
The Colorado State Purchasing Office competitively solicited, bid, and awarded through a thorough evaluation the Maintenance, Repairs and Operations - Facilities Supplies and Equipment (“Facilities MRO”) category. Through an evaluation to consider the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) responses from our Colorado State Price Agreement holders it was determined that the best solution, for the State of Colorado, is their WSCA agreement. All 8 (consolidated) categories were continued: Air Filters; Tools; Lighting; Electrical; HVAC; Plumbing; Janitorial; General (has 10 subcategories).

The "Food Service Disposables" category has been added to Grainger's offerings.

Using Agencies:
    • State of Colorado Agencies and State Institutions of Higher Education: although now Permissive, it is first choice for those entities (per Procurement Rules).
    • Political Subdivisions (such as counties, cities, special districts, etc.): can use at their discretion.
    • Non-Profit Organizations: NP's who annually submit an application to and have been approved by the State Purchasing Office are eligible to utilize this Price Agreement. (Contact 303-866-3640 for more information.)

Political Subdivision Information

  • Grainger is asking political subdivisions to complete an information form in order to identify that they are an eligible entity and which price agreement they want to use. There is no “must sign by this date” requirement. Grainger is requesting this because several agencies have done their own agreements and with having multiple agreements it is difficult for Grainger to ensure which agreement’s pricing and discounts to give.
  • Grainger is requesting the Customer declare up front which agreement they want to purchase under and asking that it be for a year. The Customer can select another agreement within that year and must be in writing (via email to amy.morantz@grainger.com ) so the Customer’s account can be updated to the one single alternative price agreement’s pricing/discounts. There cannot be one account for price agreement “X” and another account for price agreement “Z” for the same Customer.
  • Grainger appreciates your willingness to help make your account as current as possible so that Grainger can better assist you.

Note1: Disregard "Group ID" and "Group Name" (at top) of the form. Grainger is in proces of IT update to remove these fields.
Note2: For the "Sellers Email Address" block (at bottom), type in the Grainger Field/Sales representative you are working with. If not known, leave it blank.
