This is a MANDATORY PRICE AGREEMENT for Cargo Box Truck & Utility Trailer rental services to be used by all state agencies and all institutions of higher education for official State of Colorado government business. The following vehicles are included: Cargo Vans, 10' Cargo Vans, 16' Ramp/Lift Gate Vans and 24' Ramp/Lift Gate Vans.

D 005 03 mandates "…that this state travel card [Citi VISA] be used for both in-state and out-of-state travel purposes." Therefore, State employees must make payment by means of a State authorized travel card -- Citi VISA. State employees must notify their respective Travel Compliance Designee (TCD) to provide notification and justification of noncompliance (rentals NOT using the State authorized travel card). Citi VISA Central Travel Card: Contractor (Budget Truck Rental) is required to establish a process to allow use of the Central Travel card for 3rd party billing rentals. Many TCD's have strategically implemented the Central Travel card throughout their respective agency or institution to handle infrequent traveler's auto rental needs. This will allow the use of the travel arrangers Central Travel card to make rental arrangements for the infrequent traveler or as otherwise determined by the TCD. Credit Card Authorization

Collision/Loss Damage Waiver: Collision/Loss Damage Waiver (CDW or LDW) coverage will be furnished, at no cost to the State Traveler, by Contractor (Budget Truck Rental) Contractor (Budget Truck Rental) is not to charge CDW/LDW coverage to a State employee if payment is made on either of the State authorized travel cards -- US Bank VISA individual or Central Travel card.
Commercial Billing Account: Contractor (Budget Truck Rental) MUST seek authorization by the State Travel Management Program in order to establish a Commercial Billing Account associated with this agreement. ONLY non-STMP-participating entities shall establish a Commercial Billing Account using the following document:

Budget Truck Rental will waive the State of Colorado's responsibility for loss (including theft) and physical damage to the vehicle resulting from all causes, providing the State of Colorado's rent and/or authorize additional driver(s) are not in violation of any provision of the agreement between Budget Truck Rental and the State of Colorado.
Overhead damage and damage from "curbing" the tires are not included.
CLASS DESCRIPTION & VEHICLE MODELS
Categories of Vehicles: The contractor will provide the following Vans/Trucks or their equivalents for each of the following categories:
*Risk Management approved a request for a Waiver of Liability Insurance – and agrees that in light of the increased costs for higher limits, STMP can use the $300,000 industry standard limit in the contracts with rental car vendors.
