STATE AGENCIES AND APPLICABLE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION:
THE STATE CONTROLLER'S OFFICE HAS ISSUED THE FOLLOWING WAIVER FOR ALL LEASE ORDERS THAT EXCEED 100K: Fiscal Rule 3-1, sections 4 and 6 are waived to allow all State Agencies and Institutions of Higher Education to use the Quadient Lease Schedule in lieu of a state contract or purchase order, providing that there are no material modifications to the Schedule, other than filling in the required information.
ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. If you are a State Agency within the Executive Branch, you will need to follow your own internal procedures to obtain necessary approval from OIT.
2. Determine if you want to purchase or lease. NOTE:
- Postage meters can ONLY be rented, as they are owned by the United State Postal Service.
3. Review the Quadient Price List to determine what you want to order, or contact Larry Waters at Quadient, or refer to the Quadient Dealer List, to obtain a quote.
IMPORTANT: ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTS (ATTACHMENT 1 THROUGH ATTACHMENT 4) HAVE BEEN PRE-NEGOTIATED BY THE STATE. ANY SOFTWARE OR LICENSE AGREEMENTS PROVIDED TO YOU BY QUADIENT HAVE NOT BEEN REVIEWED OR NEGOTIATED BY THE STATE; THEREFORE, IT IS INCUMBENT UPON ALL CUSTOMERS TO REVIEW AND NEGOTIATE THESE DOCUMENTS DIRECTLY WITH QUADIENT PRIOR TO ENTERING INTO ANY TYPE OF ORDER.
